NYC has 900,000 buildings threatened by sea-level rise - in light of failing efforts to reduce emissions, what exactly will solar panels do for these buildings other than lower electric bills? Who - enlighten me - holds more promise to those NYC building owners to lower risk from sea-level rise and storm surge, the solar panel installer or the levee builder?
